Residents of the Woodlands Community of neighborhoods can participate in the clean sweep, which is organized by The Woodlands, Woodland Forest Green and Woodlands Green HOAs and Richland County Special Services, a division of Public Works.
Items must be placed curbside Sunday, May 22, as workers will begin picking up the items at 8 a.m. Monday, May 23.
The following items will be accepted:
Tires
Yard waste
Bulk items (furniture, washers and dryers, refrigerators, push mowers free of gas and oil, bicycles, disassembled swing sets, etc.)
Similar materials should be placed together in separate piles (keep tires together, bulk items together, yard waste together, etc.) Items not accepted include hazardous waste, batteries, electronics and liquid waste.
