Annual Community Yard Sale
Attention all neighbors and neighborhoods of The Woodlands Communities !!!
Join our community-wide yard sale. It will be fun to get outside and make a little cash while getting rid of unwanted items. On the day of the event, set up your items in your garage or driveway and mark your house with a sign or balloons. To improve traffic, if you are able place a sign at the corner of your street with an arrow toward your home. We will handle online advertising and placing signs at the main entrances and roads on the day of. If you don’t have items to sell, enjoy the day finding treasures right here in the neighborhood.

Richland County Clean Sweep
The Woodlands, Woodland Forest Green, and Woodlands Green HOAs will have Clean Sweep on May 12th. This event is brought to you by Richland County Special Services, a division of Public Works, and your respective HOAs.
This is a wonderful community event that allows residents to dispose of bulk items and yard waste.
Items must be placed curbside on Sunday, May 11th, as workers will begin picking up the items at 8 a.m. Monday, May 12th.
The following items will be accepted:
Tires
Yard waste
Bulk items (furniture, washers and dryers, refrigerators, push mowers free of gas and oil, bicycles, disassembled swing sets, etc.)
Similar materials should be placed together in separate piles (keep tires together, bulk items together, yard waste together, etc.) Items not accepted include hazardous waste, batteries, electronics, and liquid waste.

WHOA Summer Party
We invite you to our WHOA Summer party at Woodlands Country Club. We are still working out all the details. Come back later for more information; but MARK YOUR CALENDARS.

Community Standards Forum/Vote
This forum is an opportunity for community members to engage in a crucial discussion regarding the potential adoption of neighborhood standards. Your participation is vital as we explore the implications of implementing these standards and how they may affect our community. Following the discussion, there will be a vote on each proposed standard, allowing for a thorough examination of each option. We encourage everyone to share their thoughts and cast their votes, ensuring that all perspectives are taken into account during these important decisions. Your voice matters in shaping the future of our neighborhood. We hope to see you there.

Woodlands Golf Cart Parade w/ Santa
Get creative, grab the kiddos, and spread holiday cheer! No golf cart, no worries! Get in on the fun by watching the parade go by!
Prizes for best decorated cart and best pit stop!
CAT officer will lead the parade and the fire truck with Santa will be the grand finale.
Parade Route:
Start at the Woodlands Country Club parking lot.
- Turn right onto Norse Way.
- Turn left onto Siegfried Lane.
- Turn right onto Viking Drive.
- Turn right onto Valhalla Drive.
- Turn left onto North Donar Drive.
- Turn right onto Halling Drive
- Turn right onto Valhalla Drive.
- Turn right onto Wotan Road, turning around in the cul-de-sac, and then head back up Wotan Road, crossing over Valhalla Drive to return to the other side of Wotan Road before heading back to the club.

Richland County Clean Sweep
Clean Sweep is an opportunity for neighbors to properly dispose of unwanted items not collected at curbside regular trash collection.
Residents of The Woodlands can participate in the clean sweep, which is organized by The Woodlands, Woodland Forest Green, and Woodlands Green HOAs, and Richland County Special Services, a division of Public Works.
Workers will begin picking up items at 8 a.m. Monday, April 29th
The following items will be accepted:
Tires
Yard waste
Bulk items (furniture, washers and dryers, refrigerators, push mowers free of gas and oil, bicycles, disassembled swing sets, etc.)
Similar materials should be placed together in separate piles (keep tires together, bulk items together, yard waste together, etc.) Items not accepted include hazardous waste, batteries, electronics, and liquid waste.

This year we are pleased to announce that the Monday following our yard sale (the 29th) we will take part in Richland County’s Community Clean Sweep to dispose of unwanted items not collected at curbside by regular trash collections. The yard sale and clean sweep should make it easy to really get rid of unwanted items and make our neighborhoods sparkle with pride.

Spring Fun Walk/Run
The event will start and end at the Woodlands pool parking lot. There will be early bird swim team registration immediately following.
Lace up your athletic shoes, join in the beautiful weather, and fellowship with your neighbors in this healthy activity.

Easter Egg Hunt
Parents are invited to gather their kids for a fun outing at the Woodlands Country Club.
If you would like your child to participate, please provide 15 filled eggs per child and deliver them to the WHOA Social Committee Chair, Kerry Myers, at 604 Wotan Road no later than 5:00 pm on Friday, March 29th.

1st Quarter 2024 Meeting
The primary focus of this meeting will be to approve the budget and bylaws for the year 2024. We will also hear from the committee chairs to discuss their plans or updates for 2024. Your attendance is highly appreciated as it will provide you with an opportunity to have a say in how your dues are spent.
